" The summit is just an arbitrary place to turn around, it's the journey that matters most" - Jerry Moffett
Jenny Petersen, a second-year MSW student at the University of Montana, holds a bachelor's degree in Human Development from the University of Utah. Throughout her professional journey, Jenny has gained diverse experience, particularly in working with teenagers facing challenges such as gender identity crises, self-harm, suicidal ideation, eating disorders, substance abuse, self-esteem issues, and most recently, serving as a developmental specialist in Early Intervention and has enjoyed working with parents to help their children reach their developmental goals. Her unwavering passion lies in helping individuals discover their innate goodness, regardless of their past or present circumstances and choices.
Jenny's heart is firmly rooted in her work with children, adolescents, and families. She strongly believes that fostering support and connection within these relationships is pivotal for achieving success. Understanding that we all rely on one another to reach our potential, she approaches life's journey as a marathon, not a sprint, emphasizing that lasting transformation demands time and dedication.
Her ultimate goal is to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), specializing in empowering children, adolescents, families, and couples with the tools they need to navigate their unique paths toward fulfillment and joy regardless of their circumstances.
