Sara is committed to empowering individuals, families, and communities to thrive. She has worked extensively with teens, parents, and families to build healthier relationships, enhance communication, and foster meaningful connections.
Sara has experience across a wide range of areas, including teen resilience, child welfare, family planning counseling, crisis intervention, suicide prevention, community mental health first aid, medical social work, equine and animal therapies. She is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Utah State University.
Sara specializes in helping people navigate a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, attachment issues, grief and loss, adoption, women’s issues, single expectant parents, couples, family dynamics, trauma, medical trauma, self-harm, suicidal ideation, LGBTQ+, self-worth, and life transitions. She employs a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, experiential therapy, and mindfulness practices.
