I prioritize showing up as a real person in the therapy room.
Clients often tell me they feel comfortable being fully themselves in our sessions, whether they’re navigating anxiety, self-worth, faith transitions, or the messy in-betweens of being human.
I have experience working with children, teens, adults, and families in a variety of settings. My approach draws on trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, family systems, attachment-focused work, play and expressive therapies, and genuine human connection. I believe the therapeutic relationship is what matters most.
I support clients as they heal from faith transitions, recover from religious trauma or other high-control systems, and rediscover a sense of identity grounded in their own values. My own journey (from growing up in a high-control religious group to finding meaning and freedom in nature and music festivals) has shaped my understanding of how culture, family, and other systems influence the way we see ourselves and move through the world. I’m passionate about helping people untangle beliefs that no longer serve them, set healthy boundaries, process grief, reduce anxiety, and build more authentic relationships.
Outside the therapy room, you’ll usually find me hiking, skiing, traveling, decorating, going to concerts, or planning my next adventure.
If you’re looking for a down-to-earth, direct therapist, I’d love to connect.
