Sara Kingflitton, CSW

Sara Kingflitton, CSW

Sara is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families strengthen their connections and find healing. She has years of experience working with children who have been adopted, expectant parents, and families, and she loves supporting parents as they navigate the joys and challenges of raising children.

She specializes in Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Play Therapy, and Theraplay®. Sara uses these approaches to create a safe, supportive space where parents and children can connect, heal, and grow together.

Her approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-focused, grounded in the belief that when people know better, they can do better—and that every individual and family has the capacity to build stronger bonds and thrive.

“Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”

– Maya Angelou

Sara has experience across a wide range of areas, including teen resilience, child welfare, family planning counseling, crisis intervention, suicide prevention, community mental health first aid, medical social work, equine and animal therapies. She is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Utah State University.
